For fairly deep-rooted social reasons (ie. rampant misogeny) it's very unlikely Argentina would have a women's XV in the remotely conceivable future. Brazil, or perhaps Colombia or Venezula, far, far more likely to come up with a XVs team at some point, if player power can overcome Union sevens obsession.

As for South Africa published comments can be summarised as saying that they will only return to test rugby if they cannot lose. So again I would not hold your breath on this one.

I agree about the Misogyny but that also applies to other countries in Latin America and rampant is a good word. In regards to the Sevens Obsession the current crop of directors in the relevant federations and unions need replacing most have never player or have little understanding about XV and 7's they provide the information to the Olympic Committees who then disperse the money.

Colombia has a XV league same as Brazil lets hope they evolve their leagues. Venezuela in dire straights so not anytime soon. Countries like Peru need to setup they have plenty of women playing so it is not far fetched to develop a XV program.
