this is incredible!
we need more of this for women's rugby... put women's rugby tournaments in cities which do not get a good amount of rugby anyway, it will spread the game more and drive interest

Thanks AF. I've passed this to Rich Freeman in Japan. Has been nothing yet in the Japan media.

It's this November (2018) rather than next November (2019).

Re: Womens XVs Rugby - Global news & Developments
The women's Tri-Nations fixtures still don't appear on World Rugby website. It's a bit a pity because I hope they may be counted for the ranking. Maybe they are not XV games (could be ten's or twelve's?), but the articles don't say nothing about so it's to be supposed they are proper XV matches

We regret to inform all our supporters that Botswana Ladies team will not be travelling to play our Zambian national team . Zimbabwe has reconfirmed they are coming . In place of Zambian Ladies vs Botswana Ladies the game will be Mufulira Ladies vs Midlands Ladies on Sun 11 July and Zambia vs Zimbabwe Ladies on Wednesday 11 July and Sat 14 July .We regret any inconvenience this change may cause.

Any ranking they get (from any system) is virtually meaningless, as they are playing in a "closed shop" of teams - Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia. None of these 4 teams has played anybody from outside these 4 teams. It is not possible to rank them relative to any other team except this group of 4.

Zambia v Zimbabwe live here, but with a long-shot vertical-frame mono-camera
I think the only chance to understand the score is waiting for the speaker announces

12-6 more or less at half time, but I haven't found the final score

This saturday the "Cafeteros", both the men and the women selects, play against a spanish club (Rozas Industriales, or something similar) in Bogotà.
"Cafeteros" is a nickname for the colombian rugby national teams, but I don't know exactly what it indicates: if it means "Colombia A", "Colombia Emerging", or if instead it's just the name the federation gives to the main national team in case of a no-cap match

Ingenieros Industriales de Las Rozas
If I'm not mistaken, it's not the first time they make the trip to Colombia and Colombia Women's 7s came to Spain this Spring as well.

September/October I think.
But nothing confirmed yet. When I last heard they were struggling due to the usual funding issues. Sweden had apparently pulled out.

Kind of a weird list if you ask me. Missing some people. The 7s players on this list haven't appeared on the series except Buonapone. I'm guessing Carlyle, Emba, Tapper, Heavirland, and Kelter are getting time off post RWC 7s...but, wondering where the other half of the team is.
