Wallaroos ruck protection really needs work. Basically inviting the BF to counter.

Wallaroos botch another try. 7 line breaks, failing to capitalise on any of them.

Wallaroos score right on halftime. 19-10 NZ lead. Frustrating half from the Aussie girls, at least 2 or 3 tries went begging.

FINALLY got a stream. Have to say Wallaroos are looking good. BF are looking quite poor again. A lot of poor errors and decision making when they've had chances. And now they lost one of their better players Itunu. Pomare at 10 for Aust causing a lot of problems. BFs have missed about 20 tackles in the 1st half alone (TV said it was 16 before the Wallaroos 2nd try). If the BFs don't get their act together and focus and show a lot more urgency the Wallaroos will be right in this for the W.

BF finally get the points after blowing tries twice. Someone needs to tell Waaka and Saili to do the basics. Their ball in contact skills suck, esp. Saili. so many times in these 2 games she's made a break and then lost the ball. Also she had a two on one and should've passed. Poor judgement.

The referee has been inconsistent all game. Our number 8 has been playing great.

F**ks sake! Again the BF bomb another try because Waaka couldn't deliver a basic pass when they had a huge overlap. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

now THAT was a soft try. Doesn't help when 4 players go for a tackle on the same player. I agree ref has been inconsistent tho made a good call for Aussie's 2nd try. Yeah BF just got a ruck turnover which surely should've been a hand in ruck infringement!

I generally don't like placing blame on refs but the BF have been getting away with ruck infringements all game. Wallaroos barely hanging on right now.

Well BF are doing their absolute best to keep you guys in the game! Blackwell's had a shitty game. Missed a lot of tackles and just flopped over rucks etc.

Well, that's well and truly the game. Wallaroos have been much improved this series but still have a lot of work to do. The girls look really good in attack, but their defence in their 22 as well as their ruck protection has been pretty ordinary. Hamilton our Number 8 is the standout for us.

My apologies to Waaka. It's been Wickliffe I wasn't happy with. Just scored a try but still made it hard for herself by very strangely stepping towards touchline. Wtf was she doing?! She didn't even need to do that. Just needed to stay low and dive into the corner. Of course yet again, final pass and catch was quite poor. the BF backs REALLY need some work on their pass and catch. I reckon Wallaroos have looked better for that. At least BF D has been much better. Making their tackles. bet they got a huge rark up from coach Moore at HT for that. TV commentator said she'd never seen BF miss so many tackles in a half of rugby.

I'll just add, I'm really sick of all of our rugby teams losing to New Zealand.

Yeah, I almost feel sorry for you bro. But we did let you win that one in Brizzy last year.

Seriously, I was at university the last time we held the Bledisloe Cup. Anyway, consolation try for our girls. First time in god knows how long since they had any decent territory.

It's amazing what you can do when you catch and pass properly. Nice try to 15.

And we have let you guys get 3 tries tonight. That must almost be a record for tries against BF in a game.

And in the 2nd half the BF forwards have really upped the ante. Wallaroos have really struggled in the set pieces. Almost deja vu as for the mens team in the 2nd half last week

Charmaine Smith was right to say something to the ref. there was absolutely no release by the Aussie player there. He also completely missed BF Savage coming in from the side in the lead up to Wallaroos 3rd try. His reffing of ruck has been abissmal.

BF Smith, Savage and McMenamin been good. Cottrell's looked good since she came on. backline has looked more fluid. On the flipside. Poor again from Saili. Every time has carried ball in wrong arm. Basic error.

Well that's it. Congrats to the kiwi girls. Entertaining series but still some work to do for our girls. They're at least competitive now which is better than where they were a few years ago. Hopefully next year with another Super W season under their belt they'll get the win over the Ferns.

I was at Eden Pk in 2003 for the 100 year test where we got it back again. Through the 90s and early 2000s the Wallabies had consistently been a very competitive team that had given us a few Ls. I thought that would be the future norm from now on at that time. I honestly could not foresee Australia getting into such a rut and not winning the BC back way before now. I thought Australian rugby was only heading higher and it would be much harder for us to continue the traditional dominance.
