France v Italy, this saturday evening (21 CET), will be live on France 4

Could see more than that; If I'm figuring out the time zones right, you could start watching USA vs Argentina basically right after France vs Italy.

One way match in Bourg en Bresse, but it was anyway entertaining. Stadium full or almost full (11 thousands people according to ScrumQueens!) and very good rugby by France. Italy had to defend for the whole match, they never approach the opposite 22-mt-area. I don't think this year Italy could win more than two matches and probably they will struggle also against Wales

We were told that the ground was "full" for France v Italy on Saturday - and published capacity is 11,500. However some claims now that crowd "only" 7,000 or so (still bigger than any non-World Cup played anywhere outside France). Nothing official, though we do know that the Six Nations website's 1,700 figure was clearly wrong!

Italy 24 - 33 England. Closer than expected?

Halftime was 12 - 19, looking at the Scrumqueens tweets, Italy kept the score quite close for about an hour.

Much closer than expected, to me. Previous best score for Italy against England was 0-23, they scored just three tries in the past nine duels and this time they've scored four in just one match! It was a game with many errors by both sides (mostly by Italy) but anyway enjoyable and with many tries, I'm pretty sure the 2,800 spectators officially announced have returned home satisfied

Italy seemed very pleased by the result - but frankly they should be less happy because the win was there for the taking. With Furlan going through the English line like a hot knife through butter, they had plenty of chances - and if Schiavon had remembered her kicking boot the gap would have been one point, not nine.

And I disagree that it was a surprise. Italy are a good side these days, especially at home. Indeed I would go so far as to say that they are better than they think they are. This was probably the best chance they have ever had to beat England. They really should have taken it.

The other two W6N results

Wales 10 - 8 France
Italy 22 - 7 Scotland

As Canalina points out at viewtopic.php?f=6&t=357&p=38554#p38554 Wales and Italy qualify for the 2017 WRC finals

Scotland finished with a point difference of -117. That's their best results since 2010 (which is also the last time they won a game).
