Let me guess: it will be in the second last weekend in September, as they haven't f** German rugby enough over yet by apparently denying them their two well earned stinches on the World Series.
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Horrible decision. I can't see the positives of hosting this tournament in the very same city that hosts a Sevens World Series round every year.

It's been as while since South Africa hosts a major event, so I'm fine.

But yes it lacks the wow factor of Japan or San Francisco.

So, they are going to have the World Cup Sevens in the same location 2 months before more or less the exact same tournament happens in the World Series?
