An elderly patient (with a wide range of chronic diseases) died of coronavirus in Moscow today. First (second) death in Russia.

Good on Russia, but that's the case (or for a really minor price ) for every industrial country apart from the USA. Thing is, this won't help a thing, as there is no vaccine for this virus.

The Russian case numbers suggest, that you are only a few weeks behind the others. Do you have a lock down, yet?

Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

Russia is to blame for fact that we have a qualified government and idiots rule West?
Should we also die in thousands of solidarity with West?

Once again, time will tell. That your sports went on for the same time and apparently you have more pneumonia cases, doesn't really give a sign, that your government is any more qualified than an European government (UK and USA aside, they are ruled by complete idiots anyway).

But apart from that, I think it is a great thing for Russia to help others.

Isn't posting 10 posts of a line in a row in a thread some type of abuse? Are we obliged to see all this nonsense in a period when many of us are concerned with their countries' situation and all of us are probably affected by health related decisions of authorities?

❝ Last Saturday there was a long phone call between Premier Giuseppe Conte and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin pledged to help Italy in the battle against the Coronavirus. And on Sunday evening, at the military airport of Pratica di Mare, 9 Ilyushin aircraft arrived with Russian supplies and 100 specialists in bacteriological warfare, men that Russian agencies call experts in the field who have worked in the elimination of outbreaks of African swine fever, anthrax, vaccines against Ebola and plague. But exactly what supplies did the Russians send us, and at what price?

High-level political sources have reported to La Stampa that "among those Russian supplies 80% is totally useless, or little useful to Italy. In short, little more than a pretext". Unlike, say, Chinese shipments (consisting mainly of lung ventilators and masks), Russian shipments would be equipment for bacteriological disinfestation of areas, a field laboratory for sterilization and chemical-bacteriological prophylaxis, and equipment of this type.

According to these sources, the real counterpart of the phone call was therefore all geopolitical and diplomatic: Putin saw in the Coronavirus an opportunity to wedge himself also physically in the Italian theatre, and the Italian Prime Minister did not mind propping himself up, in this difficult crisis, accepting all this in order to consolidate an excellent personal relationship with the political side of Moscow.

What it means to physically wedge oneself is soon explained: the hundred or so experts sent from Moscow are military doctors, and the whole operation falls under the Russian Ministry of Defence, not the Ministry of Health. They have the ranks of generals, colonels, majors, lieutenant colonels, engaged in the past in military operations terrain, from Guinea to Africa, where bacteriological warfare has made one with Russian foreign intelligence operations. Sergei Kikot, senior general, head of the mission, is an expert in anthrax.

Gennady Eremin, Colonel, is an expert in bacterial warfare and has worked against swine fever. Colonel Viacheslav Kulish is an expert in the development of protective equipment against viral biological agents and has worked in programs against Ebola and plague. Yesterday this team left Rome in the direction of Bergamo, with military means: for 600 kilometers, on Italian territory, Russian soldiers were moving with the blessing of Palazzo Chigi. And who gave the indication to open the airport of Pratica di Mare?

This is clearly an exceptional situation. No telephone calls on the matter have been made between the foreign ministers, Lavrov and Di Maio. This brings us back to the Conte-Putin telephone call, which was the heart of the matter, for which we shot two questions at Chigi Palace: what supplies exactly came from Moscow? And how much were they paid? From Chigi Palace we were turned to the emergency commissioner Domenico Arcuri, with the explanation that the phone call Conte-Putin and the supplies are two different issues.

And yet it was an official communiqué from Palazzo Chigi that expressly connected things. And the Russian agency Interfax also, even more explicitly. From Palazzo Chigi we were told that a complete list of supplies will be made public tomorrow. But the Arcuri team told us that at the moment there are no plans to publish the Russian supplies. Nothing has been paid for, it was "a gift of generosity from Putin to Italy". The generosity, however, brings with it a high price: Russian Defense men roaming freely on Italian territory, a few steps from NATO bases. For once Interfax, the Russian agency, is richer in information, informing us that "Russian military transport aircraft have completed the delivery of Russian medical teams, as well as equipment for diagnosis and disinfection". ❞

Fortunately I was mistaken. 99% of Italians comments are grateful for help.

:D

Your fucking NATO organization was created to protect your countries!
And if your do not help each other, your have to call Putin.
Your also will not fight for each other. If now Putin decided to occupy Baltic countries, for example, your would not do ANYTHING! Well, maybe Trump would have sanctioned us.
Simply we do not need either Baltic States or Eastern Europe at all. Even for free!

How does russophobes take root when they saw the Russian Army in Italy. This can be seen even here on the forum. All links were cleaned, but left one Russophobian fictional article by Stampa. This will not help you. Ordinary Italians and Europeans saw real Russians.

Writers from Stampa and other Russophobes aren’t you ashamed? See how the Chinese responded to the help of the Russian Army in Wuhan.

Jack Ma transferred over a million medical masks to Russia

The founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, gave Russia more than a million medical masks and 200 thousand test systems for coronavirus. This was stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, received by "Gazeta.ru".
Corresponding parcels were delivered to Russian territory by the Russian aerospace forces plane.
During a telephone conversation with the Russian Ministry of Defense, Army General Sergei Shoigu, Ma said that he was deeply moved by the help that Moscow provided to China during the development of the coronavirus pandemic. The businessman thanked the minister for his help and added that he was helping Russia now and would do so in the future.
Shoigu also thanked Ma for the cargo transferred to Russia in the form of masks and test systems.
“You are a true friend of our country! We appreciate your unselfish efforts to help fight the coronavirus. I not only appreciate our friendly relations, but also value them, ”the general emphasized.
Jack Ma is also an honorary member of the Russian Geographical Society.
It was previously reported that Ma donated $ 14.4 million to fight coronavirus.

The answer of the Governor of Lombardy to the yellow newspaper La Stampa. I think that ordinary Italians should punish this newspaper with money.

The governor of Italian Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, criticized those who scold Russia for helping Italy.
“We need to abandon political controversy. I say thanks to Russia for referring doctors and other staff. There is always someone, jackals who speculate on these topics, ”Fontana said during a video bridge with journalists of the Foreign Press Association, TASS reports.

Who is a russophobe? I wouldn’t call anyone who has posted on this thread that. If anything people have shown you two patience while you said things like Vova did about how it would be better if countries in Eastern Europe were water because of the flight path Russian planes took to get to Italy or you posting links to conspiracy blogs calling covid-19 a US bioweapon. Like amz said this is a topic that’s personal to many so just use some common sense regarding what you post and don’t continually spam replies to yourself. Thanks.

This is probably a fake. I want to apologize to everyone. At least Poland is definitely not to blame. Russia did not turn to Poland with a request for a corridor.
I ask to excuse me.

This is not just Russophobia. But also complete idiocy. Call 80% of the help useless. Although this journalist does not even understand what the Russian military will be doing. Because in Italy there are simply no such units. These are profi who have experience fighting against anthrax and African plague.

You have no idea whether the data from China is accurate. The government controls what gets reported.
