Spanish starting XV and bench:
1 - Fernando López
2 - Vicente del Hoyo
3 - Alberto Blanco
4 - Manu Mora
5 - Michael Walker-Fitton
6 - Víctor Sánchez
7 - Oier Goia
8 - Afa Tauli
9 - Tomás Munilla
10 - David Mélé
11 - Feta Casteglioni
12 - Alvar Gimeno
13 - Nacho Contardi
14 - Julen Goia
15 - Richard Stewart

16 - Thierry Feuteu
17 - Steve Barnes
18 - Mattius Pisapia
19 - Juan Pablo Guido
20 - Koi Hogg
21 - Facu Munilla
22 - Marcos Puig
23 - Guillermo Domínguez

I really don't get why we give David Mélé the weight of #10 for the whole and Calle plays so little if the former is retiring.

Spain just defeated Brazil, so I don't think Chile can do better.

I honestly liked Chile more than Brazil last weekend.

Spain wins it 22-29. Completely undeserved. Spain played as bad as against Brazil and almost like the rest of the season, the only difference is that the coin this time flipped to the other side.

Spanish team discipline should be a big concern. Leones superior experience helped in the end. But congrats to Chile, very brave in the final minutes of match

I've got bigger concerns than discipline. The gameplan theoretically proposed by Santos is nowhere to be seen. We win but we are unrecognizable.

The best performance of the chilean team in several years. They really changed their attitude with more agresivty and dinamism.

Dramatic if not pretty. Wasn't that more than 10 minutes injury time as the Spanish gave up freekick after freekick at the end. Was there a yellow? If so, I didn't see it. Home-team a little unlucky. Official attendance 4K.

It was a full celebration. Curicó is a city of only 102 K inhabitants, so more than 3 % of the population was at the stadium!!!!! On a proportional basis Rugby generates more interest in the regions than in Santiago. It is hard to understand why the ARC was played only in the capital city the last 2 years.

When they played Argentina in the Concepción area they got like 5000 people. How much does La Pintana get? 1000 perhaps?

Curico is a Province, they have:

2 clubs / Curicó RC (since 2001) and Old Gergel (since 1998) both of them plays regional tournaments in Chile.
Also has another developement club call Escorpiones RC (since 2012).

Under 18 has three High School teams / Orchard College (National champions) 2004 and 2006, Colegio Vichuquen and Escuela Agricola.
Curicó RC also had U18 teams.

This is my blog about chilean rugby.

Meanwhile Jundiaí has 1 club, with no more than 10 years old, and no full contact rugby in schools. Chilean club/school rugby is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Brazilian club rugby....

Congrats for the blog. Go on with it
