No, it's a one-off test match. But maybe it's not even a proper test match because I don't know if all the saudi players are eligible to the national team. "Strong southern hemisphere flavor in the saudi team", wrote a spectator on twitter and the post match photo shows many 'western faces' in white shirt. I don't know, no info about the line-up arrived by Saudi Arabia.
The final score is 10-58

Apparently lots of players with less than 3 years residency.

Called "Saudi Select" by some - same team that plays in the Gulf Championship against other Gulf clubs (Bahrain, Muscat, etc.)

I don't think it should count as the Saudi national team. Considering the Saudis lost 44-13 to Jordan last time out, the difference in result seems to be more down to the change in personnel rather than any improvement of the players.

Apparently Saudi Arabia awarded caps and one of their players talks about "international debut", like the gulf competition was something different https://twitter.com/daniel__hartley/sta ... 3875478528

But I have too some doubts about the regularness of saudi squad

Result: UAE 26 - 34 Philippines

Malaysia - Sri Lanka just started, Malays 5 - 0 up.

Halftime: Malaysia 5 - 6 Sri Lanka, now 5 - 9 in the 2nd half. Malaysia back in the lead at 12 - 9 despite being down to 14 players. And now 19 - 9 with another converted try.

Final score: Malaysia 22 - 9 Sri Lanka

Couldn't be their international debut either, as they played last year in Asia Division 3 West (losing 44-13 to Jordan).

Jordan will host the third edition of the Arab 7s Championship, at Petra University Stadium (Amman) from 6 to 7 October.
Seven nations competing: Jordan, Egypt, Arab Emirates, Libya, Morocco, Lebanon and the absolute debutant Iraq.

Kuala Lumpur's stadium for the rugby 7s event at the SEA Games

Finals are Malaysia v Singapore (men) and Thailand v Singapore (women)
To notice that just seven out of 11 nations took part in the rugby tournament: as predictable, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brunei and Timor Leste didn't compete
