LIVE GAME SHEET -- only in D10, as per previous season

In EVERY other league -- EXCEL sheets during business week,
but without TIME codes: ie JUST lineups, scorers, cards, subs

Iunkerebi Kiketi (second division) looks strong for the next season with some experienced players, including :
- Davit Gurgenadze (prop) : 14 caps for Spain, played for Carcassonne (ProD2)
- Zero Petriashvili (prop) : played for Pau (ProD2) and Vienne (Federale1)
- Davit Chitidze (lock) : Georgia A, Georgia 7's
- Jaba Kikvadze (backrow) : Georgia A, Georgia 7's, played in England (Westcliff RFC)
- Aleksandre Zabakhidze (scrumhalf) : signed from Batumi
- Giorgi Jimsheladze (centre) : 1 cap for Georgia, played for Clermont espoirs
- Aleksandre Tuchashvili (winger) : Georgia 7's, played for Farul Constanta (Super Liga)
- Ramaz Kharazishvili (winger) : Georgia 7's
And rumours said :
- Givi Berishvili (backrow) : 18 caps for Georgia, 2011 RWC, RC Orkan Sochaczew (Poland)

Same for Kochebi Bolnisi
- Giorgi Khositashvili (prop) : 3 caps for Georgia, played for Timisoara (Super Liga)
- Levan Genebashvili (hooker) : played for Steaua and Cluj (Super Liga)
- Giorgi Chiteishvili (lock) : signed from Aia Kutaisi
- Rati Urushadze (lock) : 41 caps, 2007 RWC, Enisei-STM (Rus), Lons (Federale1)
- Giorgi Tkesheliadze (backrow) : played for Hartpury Collegue (England)
- Temur Sokhadze (flyhalf) : 10 caps for Georgia, played for Krasny Yar (Rus), Vierzon (Federale2)
- Giga Korkelia (centre) : 2 caps for Georgia
- Tuicakau Livinai (winger) : Fiji U20, CSM Bucuresti (Super Liga)

I think it will be hard for Bagrati relegated team Bagrati to be promoted next season

Yes, we all played with it during 1980s

I even bought it in Dilijan (Armenia),
doing post-University military camp in summer 1983

It was 6-panel = contrary to Laws stating since early 1960s
that ball's case should be 4-panel

Dilijan is a nice place. Was there rugby in Armenia in Soviet times? Any idea if there is anything going on with the game there these days?

As i know their Union is in deep shit. Corruption and inactivity. But there are some enthusiasts trying to orginize another union but old one is opposing it and government doesnt give a F about Rugby.

Hope this young enthusiasts will get government’s support and restore Union. There are a lot of Armenians in France and they can craft some normal national side on the level of netherlands or Moldova

Exactly that's why they were expelled from RE
albeit dancing SHALAKHO admirably at every game

Most of French Armenians were NOT eligible to represent the country
'cause they had third-fourth generation ancestors and
not genuine (second generation) grannies

Yes, it was produced in Poland . Ironically I also bought the one in Armenia (Yerevan) in 1979. Sorry I do not remember what was the price - most probably 10-15 Soviet rubles.
It was practically impossible to get that ball in Georgia. However in Armenia, where rugby was not popular, as you see it was easy "to find".

I got one aswell but the problem with this kind of ball from real leather, is that after strong usage became unrecognizable. It doesn't look at all like the one from your picture. Very thin and very light, the opposite of a new one which in a rainy day was real heavy :).

Thanks. Are the Armenians in France recent immigrants from Armenia or children of recent immigrants? We have lots of ethnic Armenians here in the US, but most wouldn't be eligible for Armenia as their families either came here to flee the Armenian Genocide and/or were Western Armenians who wouldn't have had grandparents born in the current borders of Armenia.

Biggest wave afaik was during the genocide and then Soviet takeover. Georgians also had plenty of people fleeing there during bolshevism. France has one of the largest Armenian diasporas and one of the largest Georgian diasporas if we don't count Post Soviet space. Although at this point they're just descendants of those people.

Until now -- ONLY individuals:
guys with Armenian family-names but
101% Georgians CULTURALLY | by UP-BRINGING

Say, lates Davit Vartaniani and Sergo Aroiani,
Edvard Barsegiani, Roland Batoiani, Ruben Baghdasariani

But now Div1 club Tao which is based in Aspindza, Samtskhe-Javakheti region,
works to entice ethnically Armenian youth, using rugby as integration tool

That is great, I've thought about it many times, we have so many Minorities who have lived in Georgia for generations but we do very little to integrate them. Eventually we will have to do something to make these people feel like they belong in Georgia and are fully integrated Georgian citizens rather than just a group living along the borders.

Why is 6th Generation Armenian or Azeri still a foreigner and not a Georgian at least culturally ? that is a problem for us to solve.

What do you think about that ? of course you are much older and I assume you've dealt with the minorities more. It might be that I'm too young and idealistic thinking this way.

Why is 6th Generation Armenian or Azeri still a foreigner and not a Georgian at least culturally ?

'cause we had not a STATE from circa 1800 until early 1990s

Now we HAVE - albeit not well managed but still a STATE
and it's slowly and irrevocably working this way
