Yep. It is not bad at all.

Hell, when you do that even the Martini Glass logo kind of ties into the idea of LA being the home of the glitz and glam of Hollywood.

That glass is realy ... what's the right word? Tacky, maybe? It is probably the sports brand more disconected to young audiences I've ever seen. It is 100% baby boomer, in a sport that needs to create new audiences... if you want to grow, you must have a more universal name, that catches all.

They could've simply have named it like "Giltini Los Angeles Something (a real name)". Sponsor + Real Name. With a visual identity not linked to the sponsor, but with the sponsor name somewhere in the logo.

Its just as bad as if they named the team the LA Marlboro's

At least I can actually buy a fucking Red Bull. I couldn't buy a Giltini or Gilgroni even if I wanted to.

I've watched the highlights. Offensive skills look great, but defense ... players seriously need to be rougher, more aggressive. We see many guys being passive.

Great first round of action. The main thing that stands out from the results is how close every game was (except Giltinis vs Freejacks which had a red card). A competitive league makes for good viewing.

Indeed great first round... and in those difficult times, what a pleasure to watch live games for free. Nice initiative to create that new platform https://www.therugbynetwork.com/

Is he eligible for the US? I'm not sure how it works.

Not sure he'd be good enough for the nation side anyway, he's been off his best for some years. A seasoned pro like him will be an asset to the league though.

Results for week 2.

Nola 51 Runy 28
Old Glory 30 Atlanta 23
New England 32 Houston 0
Utah 39 Toronto 24
Sean Diego 14 Austin 11
Los Angeles 57 Seattle 26

Looking very early on Los Angeles are the team to beat this year. On a a secondary note, the Giltinis name is still the most ridiculous nickname I’ve ever heard and I refuse to refer to the team by it.
