France U20 Development leading 13-5 at mid time

If it may be useful as comparison, Italy defeated France U20 Dev. quite largely, in Naples, some weeks ago: 28-12, if I recall it correctly

Uruguay - First Division

March 14 - Rosario (A)

Chile and Paraguay - Third Division
April 17 - Chile vs. Jujuy, Chile vs. San Luis, Paraguay vs. Santa Cruz and Paraguay vs. Alto Valle
April 19 - Semifinal and Final

The third division is played in 40 minute games. Chile should run away with the tournament but Alto Valle or Sur could give them a scare.

The U20 World Championships are to be played exactly in the three italian regions at the moment more affected by the Covid19 contagious. There are still three months and an half before the kick off, but some worries must have been raised between the organizers.
Still no official words nor "rumors" about possible changes, however

I was actually going to post to see if anyboday could find anything (I at least haven´t)

Has there been any rumours on the Italian press? (not especifically confirming anything, but perhaps in a list of events to be held in the country they enummerate this one too? and a general action plan for everything)

It´s hard not to feel bad for the venues who probably were looking forward to this event....

Ireland v Italy U20 match is also off. A bit ridiculous when there's still plenty of people traveling over and back to Italy every day. Ireland chasing the championship and possibly a grand slam too.

I haven't read anything about possible changes. But this JWC has always had a low profile so far: few infos about, and I haven't seen a logo, or a mascotte, or some sign of joy in the chosen cities when the federation announced the venues...
It's true that it's an annual event, not a quadrennial one, but I expected more enthusiasm.
Meanwhile it seems that the women 6N game between Italy and England moved from Padova (north-east) to L'Aquila (middle of the nation); also the U20 game Italy v England should move from Verona (near Padova) to the middle-south, but there are still not clues about the alternative venue

And what if Spain wins the RE U20s? Then nobody from Rugby Europe will qualify for the Trophy?

If someone get a link for that match... we are quite dry of rugby in this period.
It's on S4C and last time it was very complicated to catch a working (pirate) link for that channel

The Scots did look better against us than the Welsh. If the JWC doesn't go ahead then I presume this year's fixtures will be played next year therefore the Scots will not be back until 2022.

Bad but predictable news. And correct decision, I think.
A little, little, far chance that in July Italy will be free by the virus is still existing, but maintaining the JWC fixed would mean to force the organizers to keep following their organizing duties and in this period it's not a wise thing
