Are fans allowed at any stadiums?

Is the Columbian team still only playing some games this year or are they going to be playing the full season?

victorsra wrote:It is definitly not the reason. Time difference between UK and Argentina varies between 3 and 4 hours (Argentina is GMT -3, UK GMT 0, SA gmt +2), depending on the month. It is not a problem. All American leagues operate in 4 time zones, for exemple. Even UEFA Champions League operates usualy between 4 and 6 time zones (depeding on Kazakhstan). Still, much less than Super Rugby used to have.

Remember, South America is much more to the East than North America. Usualy people believe North and South America are in the same time zones, hence the confusion. Even Chile is more to the East than NY.

(don't ask me why Argentina opted for GMT -3 and not GMT -4  it is weird.... maybe it is a Spanish thing :P )

It is not at all weird, just common sense instead of following an imposition established by people who have no idea of the uses of the time and the customs around it on the different countries.

Argentina is a "long" country, the difference between its easternmost point and its westernmost point would be about 48 solar minutes.

If we used -4 gmt, the benefit would be for the least populated area of all Argentina and that in any case could not make use of that "earned" hour given its climatic conditions most of the year, the South of the country.

With labor differences obviously, it is common for many people to start work at 7 am (the schools open 7:30, 7:45 am), so it makes more sense that most of the year, the sun rises between 6 and 6:30 am and not at 5:30 am (the same, what benefit does it have in the South that it leaves an hour earlier if it can even be used because of the weather?), and the same at night, it is preferable to have sunlight most of the year until 7:30/8 pm than until 6:30 pm, considering that it is usual for many to work until 9 pm...we dinner usually around 10 pm.

What benefit would it have? That only in a small time of year -when we have less solar hours- in most parts of the country the sun rises 6:30 am and sets at 5:30 pm? No sense.

Argentina has very varied climates and therefore, the different schedules of the activities are linked to them, the same is the time of school holidays, etc., there are Provinces for months it is impossible to go to School, on the other hand, in others, the winter holidays last just a couple of weeks.

For Spain, they are on the wrong standard time since Franco. He decided to move it to be aligned with Hitler.

Same time of history for us in France, with german occupant moving it.

Biggest absence is Arthur Bergo, due to injury. Jardel Vetoratto is the surprising return.

Wouldn't it be on the app? If so, hopefully in the future they add a English commentary option like they have in the REC this year.

It’s probably because of the recent broadcasting announcement, they could at least unveil the order of matches but probably want to do it all at the same time (match + day and time...)

It would be a real bummer if games are not available live outside of South America through the app or YouTube.

btw, this time the deal included ESPN Brasil, different from 2020, when it did not include Brazil (remember that mistake?). ESPN Brasil is totaly independent from the Spanish-speaking ESPNs and we don't have access to Argentine rugby programs and broadcasts here. Gladly, they included ESPN Brasil in the new deal.

I think they will be available through Youtube rather than the app. I imagine that is easier to geoblock than the app. But if they can then it will definitely be through the app because they were really pushing it as the go-to source.

ESPN is also going to broadcast the RWC qualifiers this year.

It is pretty obvious by the map that many countries opt for different solutions, like India, Iran with half our, and etc. And look at Western Europe... that's very similiar to what Argentina does. No need to inflate yourself. Nobody is thinking "oh, Argentina is idiot".

The only problem is that most people don't look maps. It is incredible how easier most discussions would be if people checked the world map.

Anyway, it looks like SLAR's fixtures might have the release delayed again, from Monday to maybe Tuesday...

And I guess only Olimpia haven't released their final 30 names, right?
