Seeing Baltic Top League today (Azuolas Kaunas - RK Siauliai) , I note that a player from Zimbabwe (capped at 15's and 7's) move to Kaunas (Shayne Makombe http://www.itsrugby.co.uk/joueurs/shayn ... 33805.html). After a quick check, he seem to be released from french side "RC Compiègne" during Covid-19 break, and sign in Lituania one week ago.

In the same way, I think RK Siauliai has also a player from South of Africa (South Africa or country behind), Nfando Manyosha, but I found no information about him.

Nothing new, but I justed heared this week in a podcast, that German national team prop Julius Nostadt who joined Castres this season actually has signed on a three-year-contract (that he is JIFF-qualified might have helped him a bit).
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

another Brazilian (Tupis player) in the Italian Top 10: Lorenzo Massari signed for Colorno. https://rugbycolorno.com/mercato-bianco ... o-massari/

Massari was born in São Paulo (he is the cousin of a former Brazilian president, btw  ), but started rugby while living in Italy. He plays as center and wing. 12 caps.

Not a star signing, but pretty exciting to see that MLR is tapping a new “market”? Would be interesting to see if he’s picked for the Tucanes or Serpientes eventually as the article doesn’t state if he has pledge allegiance to either team or aims to remain US eligible. Who knows, maybe he has a chance at the SLAR in the future!

Originally the same article I posted said so, I’ve now revisited it and I see it has been changed, but I also found this other one (see below) where it is said that his mother comes from Medellin.

https://www.gilgronis.com/news/ag-rugby ... el-torres/

Apologies for assuming and confusing, I now realized that I don’t know for certain if they mean Medellin, Colombia or there’s a Medellin district / Province in Mexico too.

In any case, a Mexican influence in MLR can only be a good thing for the Hispanic community in North America.
