Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

It depends on this season standings how the calendar for 2021 will be so we may play Spain home next year as well.

Right now the house is on fire and nobody has got a clue. But the suspicion is we are fucked and it's just a matter of time to know how fucked we are.

Press release today claims the event is still on and a decision won't be taken before April 15. I find it hard to believe it's going to happen.

FER wants to finish the season, even by delaying promotion playoffs to September if necessary. They are crazy:

Fine, thanks. Thankfully I live in a southern region that hasn't been so exposed (biggest issues are around Madrid, Basque Country and Catalonia, the three economic hubs of the country), I work 100% at home since 2015 and, given the kind of job, my clients need me the most when a crisis arise. Add to the mix a hypochondriac Russian fiancee and we were ready for a war at least a couple of days before mandatory lockdown, with guaranteed income and reserves...

But we are going to be hit hard as a country and rugby won't be spared. Layoffs are aplenty these weeks, there will be shortages of liquidity and tourism-reliant business will sink this summer. Who is going to sponsor sport?

All professionalism that could be found among Spanish clubs is being dismantled as a consequence of COVID-19. The most organised ones, with legally contracted players, are doing everything through temporary redundancy schemes (SilverStorm El Salvador and UBU-Colina Clinic announced them), others just paid plane tickets to their foreigners and the feeling is we are going to suffer a huge setback. Who is going to sponsor rugby when millions are being fired? It doesn't look good.
