Who have we just let into the 8 Nations?

Re: Georgia (Lelos)
Now imagine that something like this happened in Russia. 100% all Anglo-Saxon media would shout to the whole world about a complete ban of sports in Russia.

Are you proposing to invite the Russian mixed team Amur Tigers instead of Georgia? These are the players of the Russian national team + foreigners from Russian clubs.

I am only proposing that we don't invite wild criminals into our championship.

I did say the place was a mess but you guys didn't believe me.. I'll say it again, every decent, intelligent person that worked in the GRU is gone. It's full of bloody morons now.

Re: Georgia (Lelos)
That idiot "cowboy" was arrested and charged. It is a mess. Hopefully the new head of GRU will sort this mess. GRU needs to get back to where it was few years back.

Re: Georgia (Lelos)
Georgia are invited only because Japan and South Africa were not available and there is no one else. Amur is an ice hockey team. Amur the rugby team doesn't exist.

Fair enough. Punishing the rugby team based on the criminal actions of one person wouldn't be fair and what would it achieve anyway

So what exactly happened, that others could take over?
How to grow rugby worldwide?
Look at the world ranking in July. Teams ranked 1-10 have to play one team from 11-20 (they don't play in a regular competition) away the next year. 11-20 play 21-30 away and so on. Yes, it really is that simple.

What's gun regime in Georgia?
I hope this is cleared as fast as possible without any other prejudice for Georgian rugby.

Re: Georgia (Lelos)
What happened is terrible. After all it is clear that the vice -president holds a gun. However there are a lot of questions regarding the criminal case. Still it is clear wheather the victim (the wounded rugby player) was a direct object of the attack or not.
anyway that is a personal case and it would be a big mistake to blame GRU.

In Pro D2, Mikheil Alania scored a try for Aurillac in his professional debut against Montauban. Another young promising scrum-half coming up for Georgia.

Re: Georgia (Lelos)
I was just looking at the transfers in the Georgian pro league.
Dont think any clubs are flushed with cash,so i presume players are coming and going to different clubs to improve there chances of impressing for national team.
Also not 1 player from Khvmali club went to any top league clubs. Players are very loyal to the purple shirts

Niniashvili
Lekso Kaulashvili has been convinced to come on board which is great.
Good to see Sandro Svanidze back. Had a terrific domestic season couple of years ago and was a star at age group level, before injury problems happened.
Young Georgian backs coming through is good to see.

Sounds like World Rugby intervention to insure competitiveness just the way they use to do with lower T2 sides in RWC.

Re: Georgia (Lelos)
Finally we get to see Lekso play for the Lelos. He is a good prop (who can cover 1 and 3), a decent ball carrier and a hard worker around the park so he should be a good addition to the team.
Honestly, it is relieving to see these additions to our coaching, I was getting worried... If they are successful I hope we can sign some of them for long term as well.
