Saturday, Frederic Michalack has broken two french records :
- the longest career in the blue shirt : 5033 days (2001-2015). The previous holder was Francis Haget (4735 days, 1974-1987).
- the highest number of points scored for France : 394 (previous holder: Christophe Lamaison : 380).
There are 37 players who to have scored more points for their country (including players from Fijis, Georgia, Japan, USA, Canada, Romania, Belgium, Russia, ...).
It is surprising to see such a low total for the best scorer in the history of the France XV. Probably the consequence of the chronic instability of the XV of France at fly-half and kicker ?
