Good game yesterday in the final between the top 2 SuperLiga clubs at the moment.
Baia Mare claimed the second trophy of the season after winning the League. Steaua kept the game equal for the first half hour. Baia Mare 3 tries in 10 minutes at the end of the first half, took the game away from them and Steaua never looked like coming back.
I was expecting Steaua to have a much more faster game but they looked tired. It is true, they played 4 more games to qualify for the final (easy games), while Baia Mare had the games decided in their favor, due to Timisoara and Cluj testing positive and forfeiting their ties.

The match against Belgium will be played on Sunday, Feb 7th, 18:00 (RO time) on the new Arena in Craiova. It seems I was right when I was thinking that Craiova should be considered as a hosting city in an eventually RWC ) (together with the two big stadiums in Bucharest - Steaua and National Arena (not the Arcul de Triumf which still has too less capacity for a RWC game) and the one from Cluj).
Back to the Craiova match against Belgium. The city is a very important one in the south of Romania. It has its own airport with enough connections to European countries and a big Ford factory. And of course is a very important touristic point. If the match would have been with spectators (which I doubt) the tourists would have had a lot of nice places to visit. Now, lets see if the match is going to be played.
It's strange though that Arcul de Triumf is still not ready for matches.

The match against Belgium will be played in Craiova, but at 15:30. It will be broadcasted on TVR1 and no spectators will be allowed on stadium.

I know this is only a training squad, but if we pick this squad plus players in France like Macovei, Antonescu, Andre Gorin, Tarus, Badiu etc. I think we can definitely cause some damage and may cause an upset with Georgia (if Romania play the whole match against them like they did the first 60 minutes last year where the score was 13-13 at one time!)

Romania Rugby will be sponsored by Macron (official conformation pending) and I even saw a glimpse of the first kit (or maybe the away kit), it is white and has a collar consisting the blue, yellow and red colours.
