Similarities between Rugby and Cricket
Apart from both being elitist sports started by the English, I don't think there is anything much.

I don't know if calling them elitist is correct though. They are open to anyone to play if the desire to do so is there.

Rudie Van Vuuren has played for Namibia in both the Rugby and Cricket world cups in 2003, hosted in Australia and Kenya respectively.

Great bloke, I have played against him. His team hammered us and he then took our injured players back to his place and stitched them up, whilst they drank champagne. He also helps his wife run one of the biggest animal sanctuaries in the country.
