But even allowing this as an "accident", China knew of the spread and stopped domestic flights to halt the spread but it failed to alert its neighbours, the international community and stop international flights. They allowed it to spread in Europe and North & South America, indeed the whole world.
So yes China is to blame, and its pathetic ideology is a menace to humanity. I did not say Russia needs to help destroy China, merely that a Chinese led world would preclude the freedoms that we are used to (indeed the Chinese influence in the West is eroding our freedoms on a daily basis).

The international system is at a historical inflection point. As Asia continues its economic ascent, two centuries of Western domination of the world, first under Pax Britannica and then under Pax Americana, are coming to an end. The West is losing not only its material dominance but also its ideological sway. Around the world, democracies are falling prey to illiberalism and populist dissension while a rising China, assisted by a pugnacious Russia, seeks to challenge the West’s authority and republican approaches to both domestic and international governance.

Earlier, in the 90s, people in the West studied the geography of the crumbling USSR on the news from TV. Now Russians and the rest of the world will also study the geography of Western countries. By the way, recently a respected expert was asked why Russia does not cooperate with Ireland. They the main enemy of our historical enemy. He replied that he was also very surprised by this fact. So look forward to soon the ties between the Celtic peoples, the Boers and other oppressed Western peoples will be forging with Russia.

They're buying influence everywhere (Africa, N.America, Europe, Pacific, Carribbean) and spreading their ideology and reliance on their economy. Western elites have been bought by China, but the spread of covid has woken Western populations up (along with their behaviour in India, HK, South China Sea etc).
China offers countries infrastructure projects, economic development, while US offers "democracy" and "human rights".
So its no surprise that these countries choose China. China gets its way a market economy,
US is seeking subordination of countries by direct military occupation.

Nobody knew about covid and what he was when Рeijing authorities received information, they took action and warned whole world about danger.
By the way when "Spanish flu" arose in US they did not warn anyone. This flu was called Spanish because neutral Spain announced this flu to whole world.
China does not extend its political system to other countries, unlike the USA&Co they live as they like.
It is the USA&Co that is trying to impose a model of colonial democracy on everyone.
As for freedoms and human rights, in my opinion Russia is one of frest countries in world and much more democratic than some of Eastern European apartheid regimes ...

So military action is likely but think that Russia will then destroy gas pipeline through Ukraine to Europe.
Ukraine is led from American embassy, Ukrainian leadership will fly to West with money.
Ukraine is now a completely degraded state under external control , a pitiful shadow of Ukrainian SSR.

It is interesting that Britain is viewed as an historical enemy of Russia, or perhaps even a current enemy? because that's not really how Russia is viewed in Britain by most people. Amongst the people at least, Russia is not especially viewed as an enemy, I'd say we don't think of Russia much at all but when they do enter our consciousness it's more as an intermittent pain in the ass. (e.g. Salisbury, planes buzzing coast etc). But generally, unlike in the US, Russia is mostly an afterthought in Britain.

CDA Kvien hosted a constructive and collegial dinner with Minister Stepanov yesterday, sharing perspectives on fighting COVID-19 and health sector reform. Ukraine will NOT be buying Russia’s COVID vaccine, which has not passed clinical trials for safety!
