"Barbarians make more history with launch of women's team"
Pretty exciting stuff, imo. Current members are Susie Brown (Scotland), Fiona Coghlan (Ireland), Claire Cripps and Megan Goddard (England), Elen Evans (Wales), Emma Jenson (New Zealand), Christelle Le Duff (France) and Kelly Russell (Canada).
Their first game will be vs Munster on November 10.

No italians, unfortunately. I would have liked to see Barattin in the list, I know that she is not at the level of the best scrum halves in the world but perhaps she would have deserved anyway a call, as a premium for her long career and long Italy's captaincy

I actually would have loved to see women from all continents in the world represented in the Barbarians team., Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas and Oceania.

St Patricks Day. A pity it's not against the full IRE team. That would've been cool.

Just a few weeks ago the 38-year-old was dusting off the boots to have a run for the Barbarians against her old team – the US Eagles. The Olympian’s performance was of so impressive that she will now be packing her bags for London to suit up for the famous invitational side once more, this time against England at Twickenham. Retirement can wait a little longer.

Re: Barbarians women's team!
By "Amsterdam" they mean Amsterdamse Atletik Club right?... they could have written the correct name or the correct abreviation (AAC)!
Re: Barbarians women's team!
Barbarians team to the historic Twickenham match against England. Very strong squad:

AAC, correct. Nobody ever calls it Amsterdamse (or is it Amsterdamsche?) Atletiek Club. I guess the writers of the article supposed you could call it "Amsterdam", in the same way as people say "Saracens" rather than Saracens Football Club etc. But yes, AAC is always known by its initials.

Correct me if I am wrong, but AAC is also not the only club in Amsterdam?
