Women's Rugby Commonwealth Games
Like the Men forum, This is a topic to discuss the commonwealth games.
Apologies in advance, for those people who come from countries not in the commonwealth/ former colonies of the British empire.
Unfortunately there are only 8 teams where the Men's have 16
Who are the
1. Major contenders
2. Wild Cards
3. Everybody's favourite team
4. Underdogs
5. Surprise teams
Let's discuss and deliberate. All opinions are welcome.
Teams participating :
Canada
South Africa
New Zealand
Kenya
Fiji
England
Australia
Wales

I find it impossible to disagree with that!
Re: Women's Rugby Commonwealth Games
Yes, the top three are way ahead of the rest. I am at a loss as to why England have been so poor this season. In previous seasons you could maybe hope they would upset one of the big three once in a while, but they have become one of the poorer teams in the WSWS.

England are a puzzle. Very poor against Fiji - after watching Canada and New Zealand, England's basic handling was dreadful and they were repeatedly turned over too easily. Got out of gaol in the end. Then against Australia they were totally different. Well in the game until the last couple of minutes.
They have the talent - and money - so where do you look? Coaching?

Kenya beat South Africa again, 19 - 10 this time. Nonetheless, NZ and Canada top Pool A and go into the Medal Semis. Barring something unexpected they will be joined by Australia and England.
