Re: IRB Women’s Sevens World Series qualifiers
Can't find anything as simple as a list of results and standings online but if you can't get the stream there are more details at https://www.facebook.com/hkrugby
Been chucking it down with rain there. Fiji, China, Japan, Neth and Brazil all had two wins from two.
Fiji 52 - 7 Argentina
Japan 31 - 0 Kenya
France 19 - 21 South Africa
China 44 - 0 Mexico
Brazil 38 - 7 Portugal
Netherlands 12 - 10 Hong Kong ( was 0 - 10 HT)
Fiji 45- 0 Kenya
Japan 35 - 0 Argentina
France 66 - 0 Mexico
China 31 - 7 South Africa
Brazil 22 - 0 Hong Kong
Netherlands 14 - 0 Portugal
Fiji 33 - 7 Japan ( both teams will qualify for Cup 1/4 finals )
Argentina 19 - 5 Kenya
France 26 - 7 China
South Africa 36 - 0 Mexico ( South Africa, China & France probably all make Cup 1/4s)
Brazil 0 - 7 Netherlands ( both teams will qualify for Cup 1/4 finals )
Last pool game Hong Kong - Portugal, HK should go through if they win
Portugal 26 - 19 Hong Kong - not sure what that means, but HK probably have better points diff from those teams winning 1 match.

True - I hate it when they put the higher score second so I swapped it and forgot to switch the scores!
At least someone else is looking at this topic

3rd/4th China 12 - 7 South Africa
FINAL Fiji 24-19 France
Re: IRB Women’s Sevens World Series qualifiers
So Fiji, China, France, and South Africa will be joining the Sevens World Series this year? Good to hear. Hopefully a couple of them will be relatively competitive.

Now that there is a dedicated thread for women's rugby on this forum I'll be coming on here more often SPP

Re: IRB Women’s Sevens World Series qualifiers
Canada's 7s squad is apparently doing a tour of Australia, October 8-27. Trying to find out more info.

Found out more info (read: Rugby Canada finally posted about it).
During Gold Coast 7's, they'll play Australia three times. Following that, they'll be competing at Central Coast 7's.
Re: IRB Women’s Sevens World Series qualifiers
It looks like Aus is the place to be. Two of the Netherlands squad Jannicke IJdens and Tessel van Dongen spend some time there with tribe 7's.
