In spring there will be games starting from quarter finals.
(one match took place. Metallurg - VVA)
And also matches for 7-8 and 9-10 places. After that Russia will start playing rugby in winter instead of summer.

I puzzеled by this strange decision as you are.
Against background of bascally enough correct decisions this decision clearly stands out for its idiocy ...

What was the final score? I saw some of it but I'm at work and I missed the end.

According to Rapport, "The Cheetahs are investigating the possibility of playing in tournaments in Russia and the USA"

They apparently do not know that our new championship will begin in fall and they will not be able to play in European club tournaments ...

If they come to an agreement with the ENPR, then why not? They can. From June to September they will play in the Russian Championship. And since October in European competitions.

I think it's more likely Cheetahs will play in a few short tournaments rather than join a European league. If any city wants to host a mini tournament, the Cheetahs should be the first team invited.

If Russia has money, just do like Japan and hire more and more overseas players. A Cheetahs-in-exile is useless for the league.

No. For 5 years Enisei and Krasny Yar played only 36 games in the Challenge Cup. For 1 season, our 10 clubs will play about 20 games against Cheetahs. For 5 years at least 100 games! This is what we need.

Nice list. But the difference is Japan contracts overseas players from major leagues and with caps. The Russian league (if there is that money) could start doing the same. They would higher the level of the game.

Dude, you don't need the Cheetahs. If you want to play Cheetahs-level players, just hire them. Just like Japan.
